About Us
Mezzaluna is located 1.5 block from the gondola, in the heart of Aspen with walking distance to shops, hotels, and bars.
Mezzaluna Aspen opened in 1987 and is a locally-owned and operated restaurant. We serve lunch , apres ski and dinner every day in a bright modern dining room, where Italian art is decorating the walls.
We serve modern Italian cuisine in addition to traditional Italian dishes, such as chicken parmigiana and spaghettini Bolognese. Our wood-fired pizzas are made in the dining room and a must-try when in Aspen.

I ordered the blackened salmon pasta to go and the service was prompt and friendly. It came with warm bread and Parmesan. Tasted delicious and like good quality ingredients, and it didn’t break the bank.

What a wonderful afternoon on the open patio. The beer was ice cold and our food was so fresh! Simona was our lovely server- she recommended the panini and we absolutely loved it!

We were walking from a food and wine event that we were told we missed the dead line to get by 35 min.
We are on holiday so we didn't argue.
Walking back to the tents, we came across this restaurant. They had wood oven pizza and allowed us to sit on the deck even though the weather was not great. The 3 if us ordered italian sausage pizza, barrata, and calamari. The food was outstanding. We ate everything. Then 2 more of our party showed up, also hungry. It was getting chilly, so we moved inside to a new table. We ordered a magarita pizza and more beverages. The food was great, and the service was top draw. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Good tasty food. There are few vegetarian options as well. It’s in walkable distance to silver queen gondola. Eggplant appetizer was awesome to be specific. Food runners were quick and patient to listen our requirements.

At the time it was a family gathering and I wasn’t too keen on eating anything unique, but once I looked at the menus my mind changed. Beautiful dishes that are a bit pricey but overall don’t let you down in the amount of flavor you receive.
At least, that’s what I got from the Italian Job Fire-baked Pizza. The rest of my family either got the trout or pasta of which they rated it 7/10. Which is around the same rating I would give my pizza. Thats including my personal conditions, but minus the aforementioned conditions no doubt I rate the pizza there a solid 8/10.
Cheap eating? This isn’t the place. But if you want quality with a side of wine? I’d recommend this place.
The service was excellent and very hospitable. Other than the high amount of business deterring from the better vibes the employees made sure they could serve best as possible. Well, from my point of view.

Visited during our stay near Aspen. We were able to get a table without a reservation. The staff was friendly and obliged with our request of joining two tables as we were a group of 8. I tried their special pasta of the day and tiramisu along with a martini. All in all, the experience gave us bang for our buck.
