Mezzaluna is located 1.5 block from the gondola, in the heart of Aspen with walking distance to shops, hotels, and bars.
Mezzaluna Aspen opened in 1987 and is a locally-owned and operated restaurant. We serve lunch , apres ski and dinner every day in a bright modern dining room, where Italian art is decorating the walls.
We serve modern Italian cuisine in addition to traditional Italian dishes, such as chicken parmigiana and spaghettini Bolognese. Our wood-fired pizzas are made in the dining room and a must-try when in Aspen.
Want or need gluten-free food because of dietary restrictions or …? We have it! Gluten-free pizzas and pastas, salads, and entrées. Come in and try! Available at the bar and at the tables all day – every day.
“We made a reservation an hour in advance for 12 people. They had the table ready for us upon arrival. We started with a fantastic merlot and the tomato basil soup. Our entree was wild caught salmon with mashed cauliflower. Coffee and the banana bread to finish off. The whole meal was presented very well and we had pleasant and cheerful service from Camila. Everyone from our party was very pleased with Mezzaluna Restaurant. There is a bar in the center of the restaurant that made for some noise levels to increase or decrease throughout the night but it did not bother us at all.”
“Nice bar, outdoor seating nice as well. Pizza was good. Staff was very attentive, bartenders are really fun. We preferred to eat at the bar rather than table. Seems like a lot of regulars come here, which is a plus.”
“Wonderful Italian restaurant. Great customer service with a variety of menu offerings. My husband and I had the spaghettini which was absolutely delicious. Great restaurant for couples or families. Variety of offerings for children as well.”
